Don't you want to get away from the computer and begin a wonderful adventure in real life? Just like in books and movies, you'll be tracking clues like Sherlock Homes or Indiana Jones. Actually you can take part in two adventures – just get a few friends who make a good team together and jump into the action.
We are talking about two brand new attractions in Bansko – from January 12th, 2017 apart hotel Lucky Bansko open doors of two escape rooms - “Egypt” and “Hackers”. It looks like we are announcing it too early but actually such mystery rooms have been very popular in our country in the past year and people want more and more of them. In order to book these attractions in Bansko and have some fun in the weekend – you have to make your reservation at least a week or two earlier.
Such attractions are also known as puzzle rooms because the players must solve a chain of puzzles, by revealing any hidden clues and signs on the way, in order to win. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, even different ages, and are popular as team building exercises. Surprise is a key element here so in order to fully enjoy the entertainment the players must not be aware of the puzzles prior to entering the room. Once locked in, they will have a set time limit of 60 minutes in order to get out.
So, by choosing “Egypt” you will soon find yourself in the complex tunnels and halls of an Egyptian pyramid – looking the same as you have seen it in both action movies and documentaries. Can you reveal the secrets of the Ancient Egypt?...
You don't need a great physical power for this type of adventure, nor special skills and vast experience. You only have to bring your logical thinking, common sense and most of all – teamplay. Even the sharpest minds cannot alone cover every point of view, observe everything, decrypt all codes at once and orient properly in time in space.
That's why each team must consist of at least two players, to the maximum of six. Of course, they are not completely cut off from the “outside world” - players are being watched on live cams by the technical team who can intervene at any time needed.
It happens rarely but in case some player or the whole team wants to leave the doors will be opened immediately. That's a preventive measure if a player gets easily stressed or has high blood pressure and other conditions which the organizers recommend to not be combined with this type of entertainment. But sometimes people get involved a little too much in a good challenge.
Here's something unique here: the Egyptian room in aparthotel Lucky Bansko is the first escape room in Bulgaria suitable for children between the age of 4 and 12. Of course they need to be supervised by an adult therefore the room is recommended for families with kids.
The Hackers room is suitable for adults and children above the age of 8. Teams of players between the age of 14 and 17 must find at least one more player at 18+ in order to enter the room. You should come 20-30 minutes before the game starts in order get instructions:https://escapebansko.bg/en/information.html
